Texanna Lady Crafters
By HELEN TREMAIN

TLC continues to grow and add new members. Fresh ideas come with new crafters and unique crafting products for our store. This is in part due to the donations we receive from Eufaula and surrounding communities. We try to use or repurpose the donated items.

We want to thank everyone who has ever given their unneeded craft items to our shop. This sharing helps us to turn the ‘old’ into the ‘renewed’ and we can share proceeds with deserving organizations. Our items in the shop are often at a much lower than expected price because of our limited overhead.

Linda Good, a Texanna Lady Crafter, and her Zoomba Group, recently presented a donation of Gatorade and water to Porum Volunteer Fire Department, one of several we support.

TLC continues to have a presence at The Barn once a month. Our inventory improves each time new creations are made available. We recently had a banner made for our tables and new brochures are available, too. Come and see us there!

Dawn’s Place Cafe, across the street from us, continues to offer their support by displaying our lake crafts and flowers. A big ‘Thank You’ to Dawn’s Cafe!

If you need flowers or centerpieces for any event, TLC could custom make what you need. Currently, we have a good patriotic selection of handmade crafts and floral arrangements for the Fourth of July holiday.

The summer months are very busy in Eufaula. The Chamber has asked for help with Rodeo concessions, booths, and other events during the Whole Hawg Day weekend. Some of our TLC members will be helping the Chamber during this fun, busy time.

TNT Powerwashing gifted our building with a refreshing bath. What an eye-catching improvement provided by a generous company. Please come and see us on Fridays or Saturdays, between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
