Reigning queen urges contestants to sign up

I am Danner Burn of Texanna. I am the 18-year-old daughter of Blaine and Lisa Burn. I work as a sales associate of Kastenberry Credit Card Processing. I was the Sedan Round-Up Club Queen in 2021 and am now the current reigning Eufaula Round-Up Club Queen.

I am assisting the Eufaula Chamber of Commerce with organizing this year’s Whole Hawg Days Rodeo Queen competition.

I was homeschooled and graduating early. I enjoy team roping, and attending church above all.

I know I may be young but that does not detour my determination and willingness to help shape this program into the competition it has the potential of becoming.

I strive to help girls and women build themselves up to their full potential for their personal dreams and goals.

Being a rodeo queen is much more to me than a pretty smile and a crown. It shows dedication to the rodeo community, dedication to their horses, and the strive to keep the rodeo/ cowboy way of life alive.

A chance to represent their community in the highest honor of being the face of their rodeo. When I was a little girl I had a love for horses and adored the idea of becoming a cowboy. I had the opportunity to become a part of this community and dived right in, never looking back.

I would be honored to allow other girls and women the same opportunities to light the fire within their souls to fulfill their dreams.

Rodeo to me is so much more than just an event to attend on the weekend, it’s a way of life and a love that only God himself may understand.

I believe that God made cowboys so someone would love and enjoy the wide-open spaces, mountains, and deserts the way He did when creating them.

The rodeo community understands this and appreciates all that they have been blessed with today. Rodeo Queens sparkle with the widest of smiles to invite people into our beautiful community.

I have a deep passion for rodeo and I deeply appreciate the opportunity to share my passion with the Eufaula Chamber of Commerce Rodeo.
