OKLAHOMA CITY — County officials across Oklahoma are celebrating a major legislative win as House Bill 2758, which allocates up to $75 million for county roads and bridges, has officially been signed into law. This marks one of the largest single-year investments in county transportation infrastructure in state history.
The funding will provide essential support to counties across Oklahoma as they work to repair, upgrade, and modernize critical transportation networks that serve both rural and urban communities.
This bill represents a monumental step forward for county infrastructure. These funds will improve safety, support economic development, and help our counties better serve their citizens.”
ACCO extends its deepest gratitude to the legislative champions of this historic bill — Representative Trey Caldwell, Senator John Haste, and Senator Chuck Hall — for their leadership and commitment to local government needs.
“This investment reflects the state’s recognition of the vital role counties play in Oklahoma’s overall transportation system,” said ACCO Executive Director Chris Schroder. “We are especially grateful to Representative Caldwell, Senator Haste, and Senator Hall for their tireless work to ensure our counties have the resources they need.”
House Bill 2758 represents a collaborative effort between state legislators, county officials, and Governor Stitt to address long-standing infrastructure needs across Oklahoma’s 77 counties.
