FLEAS May Meeting
news

FLEAS May Meeting

The theme of the May meeting was, appropriately, May flowers.

Our hostesses Jan Kreiger, Karen Willoby and Janis Davis did a great job! The door prizes were lovely, freshly potted flowering plants. They were ready to decorate a doorstep or hang, absolutely stunning!

Our guest speaker was Lyndsey Skaggs, a Eufaula middle school teacher. Lyndsey teaches Oklahoma history and government. The word is out that her students love her classes.

On the other hand, Lyndsey is a redecorating genius. An avid fan of the home improvement channels, she works wonders. She appears to have been born with a paintbrush in one hand and a nail gun in the other!

Lyndsey purchased a home one block from the lake, built in the 1920’s, for $89,000. After her renovations, the home is now appraised at $250,000. She shops for the best deals, paints the darkness away and seems to perform miracles.

Next month, our guest is Selina Dornan who will give us make-up tips. Hope to see you there!
