Wildcats scrimmage Indianola in basketball

The Checotah Wildcats scrimmaged the Indianola Indians at the Frost Event Center on Tuesday. Checotah head coach Malcolm Warrior will have huge voids to fill after losing key players R.J. Womack, Tyler Orman, Tyler Corn and Dylan Robinson to graduation.

The Wildcats struggled at times against the Indians, rebounding the ball and guarding in the paint.

On a good note, Warrior will have Cooper Cutbirth, Rowan Chapman, Wes Brown, Cole Rolland and Traegan Duvall returning in the fall to compete for starting positions.

Checotah went 2-20 last year under head coach Malcolm Warrior who will be in his third year at the helm for the Wildcats.
