Two Muskogee men charged with killing a Eufaula resident were ordered to appear at a preliminary hearing in district court at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 3. Suspects Kyren Omari Boulware, 19, and Michael Tulney, 20, were arrested May 20 and May 21, respectively, and are being held without bond.
They allegedly killed Ashton Wright, 21, on March 31 and dumped his body on a Muskogee street in the area of South L and Frankfort streets at about 7:40 p.m. the day of the killing. On April 1, at about 1:16 a.m., the vehicle was abandoned in Summit. The police said the vehicle was registered to Erica Childress, mother of Boulware.
“She later confirmed Boulware had possession of the vehicle,” according to a Probable Cause Affidavit.
The victim’s phone reportedly was found in the vehicle.
