We are having so much fun in our Summer Reading Programs, and you should join in the fun too! We have Summer Reading calendars available at the circulation desk. Come by and pick one up today! You can also find our events online at eols. org/events. Here is the schedule for the week of June 15.

– Tuesday, June 17 at 1 p.m. Primary printmaking ages 6-11 – Wednesday, June 18 at 1 p.m., Better Together Acrobatics, all ages at Eufuala Elementary Gym – Wednesday, June 18 at 2 p.m. Book Club for adults – Friday, June 20 at 2:30 p.m., Teen printmaking, ages 12-18 The library will be closed on Thursday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. However, you can still access all of our online resources and apps.

Have you signed up for the Summer Reading Challenge? Patrons of all ages can register for Beanstack at eols. beanstack.org, the platform we use to record how many minutes you read. We will hand out prizes for each 100 minutes read. You can claim your prize at the circulation desk at Eufaula Memorial Library. We will also put your name in a drawing for the grand prize. The drawing will be on the last day of July.

The Friends of Eufaula Memorial Library (FEML) are looking for new members to join and continue to help build the library. The next meeting is Friday, June 20, at 1:00 p.m. Molly Hutchins will speak on the Battle of Honey Springs’ role in the Civil War. Contact President Gail Rose at member.FEML@gmail. com to join.
