Jeb Jones resigned as city manager in April. He was hired in 2022 to replace Jacob Foos, who had resigned months earlier and became assistant city manager in the City of Shawnee.

Andrea Weckmuel-ler Berhinger was Shawnee’s city manager.

She and Foos worked closely together until he moved to Dallas to become that city’s Cash and Debt Manager.

In late March, Andrea replaced Jones, becoming interim city manager until she resigned on May 9 to become city manager of Ennis, Texas, a town 35 miles south of Dallas.

Lawrence Mitchell was hired to replace Andrea as interim city manager, but he left after two weeks.

In the interim, City Clerk/Treasurer Valarie Cox acted as a quasi-city manager.

Foos says has not seen Andrea since her move to Ennis, but the two have remained friends through the years.

“She always speaks highly of Eufaula,” he said.
