Salary: basic wage $50,000; total package $74,147.25 Minimum requirements:

– high school diploma or GED – at least seven years of paid or verifiable, active volunteer experience as a firefighter, including three years as a superior officer (for example, as lieutenant, captain, deputy chief or chief) – certified as Fire Fighter 1 and Fire Officer 1 through OSU Fire Service Training – certified in emergency medical care at the first responder level or higher – must possess and maintain valid Oklahoma driver’s license – must live within a 10-mile radius of the city limits of Eufaula within 60 days of hire – must successfully pass a background check and drug screen – must successfully pass entry physical/qualifications into the Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System
