Leah Green is one of the top freshmen in the state of Oklahoma and one of the top pitchers in the state regardless of class, coming in at number 17 by Epic National Fast-Pitch.
Playing for the Eufaula Lady Ironheads, the pitcher won all types of honors and awards including Newcomer of the Year, Pitcher of the Year (District 3A-8) and helped her team qualify for the Class 3A State Tournament.
Green throws in the low 60s consistently with an excellent rise ball and knowledge of how to miss barrels. An excellent all-around athlete, Green was ranked No.10 in the state in the 100-meter dash and No.9 in the 200-meters and that speed translated to the softball field where she can turn a single into a double or triple easily. Green has already caught the attention of multiple colleges at team camps over the last six months.
Leah is the daughter of Eufaula head softball coach Ryan Green and Courtney Green, who was also an outstanding softball player.
