Brian Young is the new offensive coordinator for the Morris Football team. Coach Young lives in Checotah and is Married to Kara Young. They have two kids, Diesel Byrd and Jalei Byrd. Coach Young is a Eufaula High School Graduate 1997. He then continued his education and baseball career at Eastern Oklahoma State College where he earned his Associates Degree. He then attended East Central University where he played baseball and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education in 2003.

He began his coaching career at Quinton as head baseball coach in 2003. He then went to Checotah High School where he coached football and baseball.

He coached running backs, receivers, secondary and quarterbacks from 2005-2018.

In 2017 he became the offensive coordinator where his offenses averaged over 40 points a game.

“I currently own my own business on Lake Eufaula (Eufaula Boys Guide Service) . I am looking forward to working with the young men at Morris Public Schools.”
