Early voting May 8, 9

On May 13 there will be a general election for State Senate District 8 and for Green Country Tech Center Proposition.

Early voting for those two elections will be at the Mc-Intosh County Courthouse from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, and Friday, May 9.

Candidates in the Senate race are Bryan Logan, Republican, Nathan Brewer, Democrat and Steve Sanford, Inde- pendent.

Voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day have the option of voting early at the County Election Board. Early voting is not available at polling locations.

State law requires that all voters provide proof of identity before voting. Be sure to bring an approved form of identification.

Federal and state issued photo IDs, passports, and tribal-issued photo IDs are accepted.

You may also use the voter identification card you were mailed when you registered.

Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on election day, Tuesday, May 13. If you are uncertain where your polling place is located, the location is noted on your Voter ID card or log on to the Online Voter Portal at oklahoma.gov/elections/ ovp. Sample ballots may be viewed using the Online Voter Portal at oklahoma. gov/elections/ovp or at the County Election Board.
