It’s a new year. Are you working on New Year’s resolutions? We are here to help. Whether you want to get active and exercise more, learn of your family’s genealogy, or read more, our staff is here with programs and expertise to help you succeed.
We have a variety of exercise classes to help keep you active and healthy.
• Every Monday at 11 a.m. we have Tai Chi taught by Dawn Edwards from the Mc-Intosh County Health Department.
• Every Tuesday at 9 a.m. we have Beginners Yoga taught by Tulsa. Mats, blocks, and bands are provided.
• Every Monday at 12 p.m. and Thursday at 9 a.m. we have chair exercise taught by Dawn Edwards from the Mc-Intosh County Health Department.
• Finally, every Wednesday and Friday at 9:30 a.m. we have SAIL class. SAIL is a fitness program for older adults, which can be done sitting or standing. Performing exercise that improves strength, balance, and fitness is critical for staying active and reducing the risk or falls.
All these classes are free. For more information contact the library at (918) 689-2291 or ask one of our friendly staff members.
We want to thank the City of Eufaula for salting our sidewalks during the ice and snow. It ensured our patrons and staff got into the building safely.
The Friends of Eufaula Memorial Library (FEML) are looking for new members to join and continue to help build the library. The next meeting is Friday, February 21 at 1:00 pm. Guest speaker, Beth Little, will give a presentation about famous couples. Contact president Gail Rose at member. FEML@gmail.com to join.
