Christopher Kropp, 63, of Eufaula has been sentenced to approximately 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to more than 15 drug charges accumulated over an eight-year period.
The charges ranged from possession to possession with intent to distribute to bringing controlled substances into a jail/penal institution.
Also in the mix are charges of possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction, transporting an open container of alcohol and resisting an officer.
At his latest arrest, in March of this year, Kropp was out of prison on parole from previous drug charges to which he had pled guilty. The guilty pleas were revoked and sentencing from those crimes were rolled into the latest batch of charges.
Special District Judge Brian R. McClaughlin sentenced Kropp to a total of 10 years in prison, with some sentences running concurrently. He suspended six of those years and ordered him to spend two years under supervision by the district attorney when he is released.
