STRINGTOWN – The Oklahoma Department of Corrections Office of Inspector General announced today the arrest of Glenda Page, a correctional officer at Mack Alford Correctional Center in Stringtown in connection with a contraband smuggling operation.
Following a contraband drop at MACC in August, OIG agents undertook a comprehensive inquiry, conducting numerous interviews about the contraband drops. Their diligent investigation uncovered evidence that implicated Page in facilitating contraband introduction into the facility.
On Friday, Nov. 15, OIG agents, with the assistance of a K-9 officer, intercepted Page as she reported for duty. During an interview, she admitted to her involvement in the operation and was subsequently arrested. Page was booked into the Atoka County Jail and her bond was set at $150,000.
Search warrants executed at Page’s residence led to the seizure of several items, including electronic devices, packaging materials and suspected drugs. The contraband smuggled during multiple drops included narcotics, tobacco, vapes, cellular devices and other prohibited items.
Page faces several charges, including:
• Bringing or possessing contraband in a penal institution (drugs, tobacco and cellphones).
• Conspiracy.
• Using money services for unlawful acts.
The investigation is ongoing, with additional arrests expected.
