Tim Turner, a devout Christian, husband to Brooke, father to Sawyer, has deep roots in the community. Born and raised in the district, he began his career as a 911 dispatcher in Checotah and has lived in Haskell County for over 10 years.
Turner, a seasoned law enforcement professional and staunch conservative, officially announces his candidacy for the Oklahoma House District 15, bringing a wealth of experience and a commitment to conservative values.
A decorated law enforcement veteran, Turner will lead with toughness, and a strong conservative vision for our district. His platform includes strengthening national borders, combating human trafficking, economic responsibility, tourism and protecting our traditional values.
US Senator Markwayne Mullin has endorsed Turner by issuing a statement, “Tim Turner is a battle-tested law enforcement veteran who is committed to fighting for our traditional values. Tim is a man of faith and a rock-solid MAGA conservative who will fight back against illegal immigration, give our law enforcement the tools they need, cut taxes for hard-working Oklahomans, and strengthen our schools.”
With an impressive track record in law enforcement, including appointments by Governor Kevin Stitt has a Commissioner for Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and service as Drug Task Force Director, Turner has consistently demonstrated bravery and distinction. As Sheriff of Haskell County, he doubled the number of deputies on the street and led one of the largest drug busts in county history. Reflecting on his candidacy, Turner states, “I’ve faced the toughest challenges in law enforcement, and I’m ready to and secure the future of Oklahoma.”
Turner has received numerous awards during his career such as Oklahoma Sheriff of the Year, Medal of Valor Recipient, Oklahoma State Narcotic Agent of the Year, District Attorney Investigator of the Year, Region 3 Narcotics Agent of the Year, Region 3. Turner acknowledges that these awards were not possible without being surrounded by great people.
The Republican Primary is June 18, and Turner urges voters to cast their ballots in support of tough and conservative leadership.
