By LYNELLE MEDLEY CHAIRMAN,

McIntosh County GOP will be meeting on April 18 at the Checotah Library at 6:30 p.m. We will have Amanda Hills Dodson addressing the dilemmas many families face when they find themselves up against our Department of Human Services Child Protective Services.

Our golf tournament is getting closer and spots are filling up fast. April 20, four person scramble, Arrowhead golf course. Lots of opportunities to win prizes for all including door prizes, a $25,000 hole-in-one as well as a $100,000 shoot out. And, of course we cannot forget free lunch with some of our local and state candidates present as well, please plan to be there.

To enter the tournament or to sponsor a hole with your business or campaign sign, please text us at 918-617-6124. We also need donations for door prizes and ditty bags so if you want your name advertised, please get in touch with us.

This weekend on April 13 we head to Pryor to represent McIntosh County at the Congressional District 2 Convention and we are also hosting a forum/debate between all local and state candidates on April 23.

We hope to have all candidates in HD13, HD15, and County Commissioner present to answer your questions. If you would like to submit questions, please email us at McIntoshGOP@ gmail.com. Please include to which race the questions apply.

Also, our Oklahoma GOP State Convention is on May 3-4 in Oklahoma City. Looking forward to all that April and May will bring, please join us at any of the above activities. For questions please text 918.617.6124. Hope to see you there!
