LITTLE ROCK, AR – Dewitt Lane Short, 94, former Checotah resident, passed away in Little Rock, Arkansas on February 2, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

PORUM – Donald Reginald Parent, 63, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

MUSKOGEE – Bessie Mae Felts, 88, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 in Muskogee, OK. Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 20 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.

COUNCIL HILL – Rosalyn Jo Burgos, 80, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024, in Muskogee, OK. Visitation was Feb. 26-27 at Hunn, Black & Merrittt Funeral Home, Eufaula, OK.

EUFAULA – Frank William Gallyer, 90, former Eufaula resident, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Services are pending.

EUFAULA – Brenda Jolene Clanin, 64, passed away on February 21, 2024 at her home in Eufaula, OK. Visitation was Feb. 23-25 at Hunn, Black & Merrittt Funeral Home, Eufaula, OK.

STIGLER – Thomas C. “Big Tom” Miller, 62, passed away February 22, 2024. A Celebration of Life was held February 28 at The Well in Stigler, OK.
