Library assistant promoted

Eufaula Memorial Library announces that we have a new librarian. Tatum Honne has been our library assistant since April of 2022 and has recently been promoted to librarian.

She has enjoyed planning teen programs, story time, and helping patrons. Honne is from Poteau, and received her bachelor’s in technical theatre from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2018.

After marrying her husband in 2021 they moved to Quinton, to be closer to family. She is ready to begin the new challenge and gear up for the Summer Reading Program this year.

Friends of the Eufaula Memorial Library (FEML) is looking for new members to join and continue to help build the library. Their next monthly program luncheon is at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16.
