Save the date! Launch event is at 10 a.m., Jan. 16, 2024 at the Eufaula Memorial Library. During the launch party, families can enroll their children and then receive their first books!
The reading program is a way to get books into the hand of children ages birth to 5 years and help develop early in life a love for reading.
Friends of the Eufaula Memorial Library have partnered with East Central Electric Co-op and Checotah Chamber of Commerce to bring the reading initiative to Mc-Intosh county.
Dr. Patty, a teacher at Carlton Landing Academy, knows just how to get the wheels turning with her students.
She volunteers at the library monthly. Their visits to the library are filled with presentations, research and browsing books.
Dr. Patty participates in the library program “Know Your Library.” These library visits help her students build their overall skills and also deepens their love for reading.
Luke, a homeschool patron, enjoys coming to the library to check out books and to work oneto one with the Book a Librarian program.
During his visits he investigates ways to share his talents and build his character.
