Kick-off party set for Imagination Library

The Eufaula Memorial Library and the Checotah Foundation for Academic Excellence have announced their partnership in bringing Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to McIntosh County.

A kick-off party will be held at the Eufaula library from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

To sign up your child, visit the libraries in Checotah and Eufaula or go to www.imaginationlibrary. com. The free The Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income.

Each month Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library mails an ageappropriate book to all registered children, addressed to them, at no cost to the child’s family.
