The Muscogee Creek Nation Citizenship Office will be at the Checotah Indian Community Center on December 20, 2023, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. to assist members of the tribe with renewing their citizenship identification cards. The Checotah Indian Community Center is located at 800 Owens Avenue in Checotah, adjacent to Checotah High School.
Citizenship identification cards are important documents that prove your membership in the Muscogee Creek Nation and your eligibility for various benefits and services. If your card has expired or is about to expire, please take this opportunity to renew it.
To renew your card, you will need to bring your current driver’s
license and your old citizenship card. If you do not have these documents, you can also use your birth certificate and social security card as proof of identity and citizenship.
Please note that the renewal process may take some time, so plan accordingly. You will receive your new card on the same day.
For more information, please contact the Muscogee Creek Nation Citizenship Office at (918) 732-7941 or visit their website or the Checotah Indian Community Center at (918) 473-5290.
We look forward to seeing you at the Checotah Indian Community Center on December 20, 2023. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
