A horseshoe court has been constructed by the City of Eufaula at Kiwanis Park.
If you want to learn how to play, contact David Fisher at 918-606-4477.
“Join us for a start-up meeting to plan for tournaments and weekly play,” Fisher said.
An organizational meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 24 at Kiwanis Park.
Anyone who enjoys the sport and wishes to be involved in developing and planning program for Ironhead Country is invited to attend.
The facility is open to the public on a “first come, first served” basis.
All ages are welcome. The court was built with the idea to add to the number of pits, if interest demands expansion.
A spokesman said the goal is to provide another place of entertainment for locals and those visiting our community.
It will have an official layout so tournaments for all ages can be hosted at the park.
