New products on the horizon
Every week for 23 years the Lake Eufaula Clipper has been mailed to every residential mailbox in the county, containing local ads, classifieds and inserts. This week marks its final distribution.
The Clipper was created as a vehicle to distribute the inserts of all the county grocery stores as well as an avenue to promote local businesses.
As methods of communication are rapidly changing, our local papers are progressing as well.
The weekly grocery promotional inserts will now be distributed in the Eufaula Indian Journal, Checotah Mc-Intosh County Democrat and available on both websites, www.eufaulaindianjournal. com and mcintoshdemocrat. com, starting on July 26.
“We have been working to find advertising solutions to reach an expanded audience in a way that fits into our reader’s busy lives,” Jeff Mayo, publisher, said. “In addition to the county papers and websites, our company, Cookson Hills Publishers also offers digital platforms to promote area businesses in a way to reach their target audiences.”
“We are working to get the news and business promotions of our advertisers in the hands of our readers more quickly and in ways that meet them where they are in their busy lives,” Shauna Belyeu, general manager, said.
“Great things are coming. Stay tuned.”
