Investigators are looking for the driver of a white sedan who left the scene of an accident that took place on Saturday, July 8, at about 5:15 p.m. three miles west of Eufaula on SH9.
Danakay Neff, 58, and Joe Neff, 54, both of Canadian, were injured in the accident.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol the driver of the white sedan was passing a vehicle without enough clearance and met the 2013 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Danakay Neff forcing Neff to swerve right going off the roadway.
No contact was made between the vehicles.
The Neffs were transported by McAlester AirCare to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa.
Danakay was admitted in stable condition with head, neck and possible trunk internal injuries.
Joe also was flown to St. Johns and admitted in critical condition with head, leg, arm and trunk external injuries.
