The Checotah wrestling program has proven itsself to be one of the most elite programs in Oklahoma high school sports again. Head coach Brett Oleson continues to show why he is one of the most coveted coaches in the sport. Oleson led the Wildcats to another state tournament where Colt Collett (41-1) won his second consecutive state wrestling championship and heavyweight wrestler Jonah Marshall placed fourth overall. During his time in Checotah he has helped develop two state champion wrestlers and has had multiple students receive athletic scholarships to compete at the next level.
