Saturday was a day of making history as the Texas Longhorns handed the Oklahoma Sooners (3-3) their worst shutout loss since 1945 in a 49-0 victory in the Cotton Bowl. The 49-0 shutout eclipsed a 47-0 shutout Oklahoma State gave the Sooners in 1945.
