Ava Rose Johnson this past Friday had the opportunity to sing at the Southern Plains/Eastern Oklahoma Regional Hearing (Kansas, Texas and Oklahoma). This took place at the First Americans Museum in Oklahoma City where Johnson also testified before the commissioners on the Commission on Native Youth. The commission was established by Congress, and they are in charge of reporting back their findings to Congress about Native Youth.
