Chris Gierut and naturalist Holly Lackey helped Dennis Conradi, 60, of Checotah, land this monster snapping turtle last week. Conradi spent two hours reeling in the 100-pound turtle, thinking he had caught a catfish. After a few photographs, the turtle, estimated to be 50 years old, was released.
