Saying goodbye is never easy. In fact it is quite hard. We simply don’t want to say goodbye to the people that we know and love. Whether it is a coworker who is taking another job, a best friend who is moving to another state or a loved one who is dying, saying goodbye often feels like a piece of you is going away too. In some ways I guess it really is because in all of those scenarios a piece of your heart and love goes with them as they leave.
