Sherry Christine Mitchell-Ham was born July 4, 1938, to Frank Mitchell and Laura Marsh-Mitchell in St. Louis, Missouri. She passed away surrounded by loved ones on Jan. 12, 2022 at her home in Eufaula, Oklahoma.

She married Franklin D. Ham in 1985 and resided in Eufaula.
Sherry was a social worker until she retired.
She fostered 100’s of children time after time providing a home, love and stability. Her home was open to all.
She is survived by her children Melissa and William (Billy Bear) Middleton, DannaSue and Max Jones, Everett and Pam Ham, Ella and Chris Brasby, Shelley Ham, Mike (Blue) Lint, Bill Koningsmark, Robert (Eric) and Doris Ham, Dan Lint, and John Wayne Lint.
Sherry and Frank had nearly 80 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
To mention a few, but not all: Mica Combs, Anthony Haislip, Tyler Goodman, Kelsey Skinner, Sara Kelley, Joseph Combs, Jeni Ham-Phillips, Everett Ham Jr, Michael Lint, Nissa Fox, and Franklin (Bucky) Ham. (No offense intended, just too many to list. She loved you all.) And Susie (Pepsi) Hampton was her best friend for nearly 40 years, we thank you.
She is preceded in death by her husband Franklin D. Ham, son Franklin Ham Jr.,daughter Karie Ham, son David (Gig) Swenson, daughter Julie Boyd, and all of her siblings Norma Gould, Dorothy Rathje-Armstrong, Arlene Garvin, Jim Gillis, Louie Gillis, George Gillis, and Ronnie Mitchell.
