Announcement: Classes going virtual
An increase in the number of COVID, flu, stomach viruses, strep throat and other illnesses has forced Eufaula schools to go virtual for a few days. About 30 staff members and 200 students are out ill, Superintendent Jeanette Smith announced Tuesday. The school began distance learning, Wednesday, Jan. 11 through Friday due to the illnesses. Also, because of the Martin Luther King Day observance on Monday, Jan. 17, classrooms will not re-open until Tuesday, Jan. 18. Students who need meals should call their schools for information.
