Eufaula Police Chief Mark Goodwin was among dozens of area law enforcement officers who took children on a shopping spree during the annual Shop With a Cop event, which began Monday and ended Wednesday. About 50 kids from area schools were taken to Sharpe’s in Eufaula and Walmart in Checotah to buy toys and clothes. According to DA Investigator Kevin Branscum $30,000 in donations was raised.
