Remember the comic strip, “Calvin and Hobbes”? Calvin was a smart-alecky little kid with a brilliant imagination and way too much energy who drove his parents nuts; Hobbes was his stuffed tiger who was really alive (to Calvin), and in contrast to Calvin, Hobbes was very thoughtful and wise. Their conversations often expressed some pretty deep insights into the human condition.
