Lady Wildcats end Poteau win streak

The Checotah Lady Wildcats (8-8, 5-2 District 4A-5) ended Poteau’s (12-2, 4-1 District 4A-5) 11-game win streak with a 3-2 victory of the first game of a double-header on Thursday. The Lady Wildcats scored three runs in the bottom of fourth inning in game two. Poteau bounced back, scoring on errors as Hailey Weaver hit a run-scoring double and scored on a double play to give the Lady Pirates a 6-4 win.
