The COVID-19 pandemic has forced sporting events to cancel from amateur events to pro events but the future seems to look bright for Oklahoma. The Oklahoma State Games are scheduled to play in July. The baseball games will begin July 20-21 if nothing changes from restrictions by the capital, OSSAA and state superintendent. The Professional Bull Riders events are taking place now as they follow strict guidelines of wearing mask and sanitation and prevention measures. Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association teams have been given the green light to open practice facilities. Granted, this being the year that fans will not be in the stands for these events is close to being reality.
